BBQ Skewers - Grilling Tool

Skewer is one of the most important grilling tools. It is nothing but a thin metal or wood stick used for holding pieces of food together. The Skewers are mainly used for grilling or roasting meats and other culinary applications. There are many different types of skewers available in the market these days, coming with fancy handles, bent designs and artistic impressions. 

There are basically two different kinds of skewers to select from, including - long metal skewers - these are typically of stainless steel and have a pointed tip on one end and a grip on the other end for removing the food. These skewers usually come with flat blade design. While the other type i.e Wooden Skewers are made from bamboo or sometimes from other woods as well. The Wooden Skewers are believed to be cheap and often come in packages of 50 or 100 and a variety of lengths.
