Gas BBQ Grill

Gas BBQ GrillA gas BBQ grill is one of the easiest grills to use. They are typically powered by a propane tank that can be refilled or exchanged at gas stations and supermarkets. Other gas grills connect directly to the natural gas line of the house or building to have a constant supply without having to ever refill, the cost is merely added to the regular gas bill.

A gas BBQ grill often comes with a built in igniter that starts the gas with the push of a button. Lighting a gas grill with a match can be dangerous but if it has to be done there is usually a hole on the back of the grill that is close to the gas element that allows a match to be inserted safely. Even if there is a flash-back due to excess gas the hand will be mostly protected.

Temperature is easy to change on a gas BBQ grill. Unlike charcoal which takes a long time to change temperatures and heat up a gas grill can heat up quick and then cool down quick if necessary. Meat can be seared at a high heat to lock in flavor then slow cooked or smoked over low heat to cook it thoroughly.
