Cleaning barbeque grills
Cleaning barbeque grills might at first seem like a somewhat messy affair. However, with the right tools, it can be a relatively pain-free experience. The most important part to clean is the cooking grid, as that’s where the food rests while being cooked.
A grill brush is the easiest method for cleaning barbeque grills. A few minutes of vigorous scrubbing with one of these brushes will get the vast majority of grime off of the cooking grid. Some people recommend covering the top of the grid with aluminum foil and letting the barbeque cook for an hour or so, essentially turning it into a self-cleaning oven.
Many barbeque enthusiasts believe that cleaning barbeque grills is akin to heresy. The belief is that the build up of charred, left-over barbeque enhances the flavor of the food the next time you cook. Bacteria isn’t normally an issue as theses grills get hot enough to kill any contaminants.
